This is great i love it!I hail from Tonragee and ask you one wish if it would be possible for you to upload this on U-tube for some older members of my family who may have been there that night to view.The bar is still the same no new decourt or nothing still the same as when John played.look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for sharing this John. I have never seen you play but it evokes old memories of my teenage years in the 70's, many a night of which was spent in Leo's Tavern, Meenaleck, Co. Donegal. Leo Brennan played a mean P/A but he never came close to your standard.
I'm disabled now and can't make it to the west anymore so it's nice to be able to listen to and watch the craic from home.
My grandfather came from Co. Mayo so we're probably related in some tenuous, distant way. I wouldn't be surprised because in that 1959 pic your my 'spit' except for the glasses. That hair is exactly like mine!
I hope you don't mind but I've copied the '59 pic to show to my family.
